In January 2007, Sand Cherry Associates formally launched its European office located in Budapest, Hungary, in order to provide an enhanced level of service to our current European clients and further support the development of new clients in the region.

The office provides services for Cable, DTH, IPTV and channel providers throughout Europe. The services available to these operators and programmers include: operational support, marketing and sales, market strategy development, product integration, new product and service launches, and headcount support as appropriate. The Sand Cherry European office is headed by Jim Helfgott who has almost 30 years of experience in operations, marketing and program distribution both in the US and Europe. Prior to joining Sand Cherry Jim was the VP of Sales and Marketing for HBO in Central Europe.

Jim and the Sand Cherry team can provide valuable support to new and existing companies through a team of people with deep experience in these industries. This includes members of the Sand Cherry team located in the U.S. and Europe who have a diverse background but have all worked for some of the largest companies in the industry.

With new channels looking to expand into Europe, and existing European channels looking for expansion, the European office provides a unique service by supporting these new channels as they explore new opportunities in the European market.
